Japanese Earthquake and what it means for nuclear

Could the ensuing aftermath in Japan spell doom for the nuclear industry? Could it be that more people will look to greener alternatives instead of nuclear? One of those greener initiatives could be solar PV which would not cause havoc in the event of an earthquake or natural disaster.

Should we all try and be energy self sufficient? Is this a smart thing to do? The answer is yes. Why? Because solar presents a way for each user to monitor and use their own power generated and as many economists attest, you get what you measure.

Our thoughts are with the Japanese people who are steadfastedly fighting their way through this very difficult situation. We hope there are not any more shocks and the nuclear situation can go on and be resolved without any further loss of life.
